But, University of Cambridge didn’t research such a thing, this epsode seems to be an urban myth.

However, it is true that we can read it.
It is interesting that the phenomenon occurs regardless of language.

が、ケンブリッジ大学でそのような研究が行われたという事実はなく、ただの都市伝説らしい。

でも読めちゃうのは事実だし、言語を問わず日本語でも英語でも同じ事が起こるってのは面白い!

英文をちゃんと書くと、こんな感じ。

According to a researcher (sic) at Cambridge University,
it doesn’t matter in what order the letters in a word are,
the only important thing is that the first and last letter be at the right place.
The rest can be a total mess and you can still read it without problem.
This is because the human mind does not read every letter by itself but the word as a whole.

Although A, B. または B although A.
Aなんだけど、B。のように、単独ではなく、文を従えて使うのが一般的。

あとは楽しく読みました。

校閲後の補足

実は Although と However は、どっち使うのか迷い、何となくで Although を使いました。
「きちんと使い分けを学習してから書く」
ではなく、
「とりあえず書いて、間違ってたら修正し、ちゃんとした使い方を覚える」
というステップで進めることにしてます。

その方が自分にとって記憶の定着率がいい気がしてる。
