I try to translate Japanese what I say into English in my head.
The other day, I thought about how these words are expressed in English.
(This conversation is a weekday morning.)
me : Good moning. You’re late today. It isn’t almost the time for school bus?
wife : I don’t thing I had a good sleep because kids kept acting up while I slept
me : So, when your alarm was ringing, he turned it off. Did you want me to wake you up? You seemed tired, so I left it at that.
wife : Ummm… you don’t have to wake me up but I will appreciate if you just tell me that.
