We were talking about food.
At that time, the Cameroonian tutor talked about “hot pot irish potato”. And He showed me a picture of it.

今日、英会話教室で、ちょっと面白い話があった。
食べ物の話になって、カメルーンの先生が「hotpot irish potato」というカメルーンではメジャーな食べ物について話してくれたんだよ。
それを見て、「日本の『肉じゃが』にそっくりだね」と言って画像を見せたら、狂喜乱舞していた。
とりあえず、ホームステイのホストをやるとしたら、肉じゃがを用意するか。
