Greetings from my second-born son

After getting off a bus or train, my son(3 years old) waits for the vehicle to depart,
then says
“Bye-bye! A white train.”
Or
“Bye-bye! A small bus, ”
and waves his hand.

Seeing that, my second-born son started to imitate his brother.

息子くん、バスや電車から降りた後、その乗り物が出発するまで待ち、「白い電車、電車バイバイ！」とか「ちっちゃいバス、バイバイ！」とか言って手を振るのですが、次男くんも真似するようになりました。

→ 不特定のバスor電車なので、the ではなく a 推奨（後述の vehicle は、前出を受けての特定性があるので the のままで ok）

Then Say

And wave

→ ① and ② waves

started to imitate.

→ started to imitate him/his brother.（他動詞なので目的語を）
