I had a online lesson with one tutor who was 6 months pregnant.
She asked me that question.
“I will become parent soon, so can you give me some tips?”
I answered that
“Don’t check SNS especially instagram. you will have a series of parenting events that doesn’t work out as plan.
You will get unnecessary emotional damage if you see ideal parenting pictures or images when you are physically and mentally exhausted.”
This was an advice from midwife after my wife giving a birth.
子育ての秘訣
オンライン英会話で、講師が妊娠６ヶ月の妊婦の方で、
「そのそろ親になるんだけど、何か子育ての秘訣とかある？」
と聞いてきたので、
『SNS見るな。特にインスタ。子育ては全く上手く行かない事の連続だ。
そんな時、育児が上手く行っている人の投稿を見ると、『普通の人は上手く行ってるのに、なんで私は上手くできないの・・・？』と、要らん精神ダメージを受ける』
と、出産当時に嫁さまちゃんが助産師から聞いたアドバイスを伝えておいた。
“parent” を動詞として使うと「子育て」
