Me
Hi, Katie.
I take online English lessons.
But I gradually lost interest in learning English.
Rather, I wanted to hear about the leisure of the Philippine beach.
Then, I wrote a blog about the details.
https://kaki-engine.com/lets-talk-about-watersports/
By the way, are there many people hanging out on the beach in the UK?
I can’t really imagine it, but it’s surrounded by the sea, so I thought there were people like that.
Katie
Hello, yes, British people loves going to the beach.
The temperature is not as high as that in Philippine, but people seem to have higher tolerance to cold water.
There are many popular seaside towns such as Brighton or Eastbourne.
Majority of people just sit on the beach or eat, rather than actually swimming for most of the year.
Me
Oh really? I didn’t know that.
But after all I like to swim.
Do you go to the beach?
Katie
Yeah I went to the beach with my boyfriend this summer. It was nice.
Me
Great!
Is it the UK’s beach? Or another country’s beach?
Katie
It was in Japan.
We went to Izu. The water was really clear but a bit cold.
Katie
But I don’t care about learning English gradually.
–>But I gradually lost interest in learning English. don’t + gradually
More importantly, I wanted to hear about the leisure of the Philippine beach.
–Rather, I wanted to hear about the leisure of the Philippine beach.
By the way, are there many people playing in the beach in UK?
–> By the way, are there many people hanging out on the beach in the UK?
Does Katie play in the beach?
—>do you go to the beach?
