I took my son to the hospital because one-year-old son(the youngest son) was wounded by hitting his head on the shopping cart
The doctor put stitches in the wound.
It looked like the doctor was stapling the books(papers) together.
I didn’t know that, But the doctor said that’s very common in medical treatment.

The method is usually used for kids.
Because the doctors can not do their job if kids aren’t patient.

私が知らなかった医療行為

１歳の息子が、傷がパックリ開くタイプの怪我をしたので病院に行きました。
そこでは、傷口をホッチキスで止める治療をしました。
それは、漫画本を閉じているように見えました。
私は知らなかったのですが、ごく普通の医療行為のようです。
なぜなら、子供たちは暴れて傷が縫合できないからです。

→日本語ではたしかに病院の先生と言うが、だいたい医者は病院にいるのでthe doctor だけでいい。
