We went to KYUSYU-TETSUDO-KINENKAN for my son who loves trains.
They are nostalgic red brick buildings reminiscent of the Meiji period.
There are the trains built in Kyushu during the Meiji era and trains running in the past.
Some visitors said “It’s nostalgic!”, but for me it is a historic structure.
(I was born and raised in Okinawa, so I was not familiar with trains in my childhood.)
電車大好きな息子くんを連れて、九州鉄道記念館に行ってきた。
明治時代ちっくな赤レンガ造りの建物。
明治時代に九州で作成された電車や、過去に走ってた列車とかが展示されてる。
「懐かしいー！」という人も居たが、自分にとっては歴史建造物。
（沖縄生まれ沖縄育ちなんで、幼少期に電車に馴染みがない。）
