Using English for work

Me

For my next work, there is a development team in India.
So, the client said you can use English in the meetings.

It is a good opportunity for me to practice using English so I will try it.

Actually, I’m not good at listening to Indian accent.

I sometimes watch videos that explain about IT and technology in English on YouTube.
But, I always avoid Indian speakers’ channels.

For me, it’s hard to understand them because I am not used to Indian accents.

How about for you?

I am not that great at listening to Indian accent either, but I got used to it because there are quite a few Indian people who live in the UK.

Especially taxi drivers tend to have foreign accents so I struggled with calling taxis at first.
