When my son and I were waiting for a bus, we were greeted by a lady we hadn’t seen.
While talking with her, she introduced a Bible web site and said “This site is also recommended to kids.”
I could switch between Japanese and English on this site, so I thought it could be used for studying English.
But I know from past experience that I will not read a topic that I am not interested in.

息子くんとバス停でバスを待っていたら、
「こんにちはー。可愛いねー。」と知らないおばちゃんから挨拶された。
会話していくうちに、「これ、子供にもおすすめだよ。」と、聖書のサイトを紹介された。
日本語と英語の切り替えができたんで、英語の勉強に使えるかなーと思ったが、興味のない話題はそのうち読まなくなるのは、過去の経験から実証済みだ！

→ recommended to （for は「（彼を）部長職に推薦する」などで使う）
