The other day, in an online English lesson, I got into a conversation about snacks with a tutor from the Philippines.
The tutor loved Kit Kat and told me about it in a very maniacal story.
She said that
“I’ve eaten KitKat from many different countries. I’ve tried Philippine, Australian, American, Korean, and Indian ones, and the Japanese one is the best.”
I did not know that it tastes different in different countries.
I was amazed by her passion.

クリスマスの日に、クリスマスケーキを買っておいたんだけど、夕飯の時に飲もうと思っていた日本酒を買うために外に買い物に行ってたら、
その間に息子たちに半分くらい食べられてた。。
12/15 は次男くんの誕生日だったんだけど、まだ２歳で誕生日やクリスマスの概念が分からなかったんで、一緒に祝ってたんだよ。
実は長男が誕生日パーティーが好きで、クリスマスケーキを見つけた瞬間に、「ケーキがある！誕生日する！」と言って聞かなかったらしい。
その無茶な要求を、最終的には吞む事になったそうな。
何だか無茶苦茶なパーティだった。。
