My son’s whining

Recently, my son often say “No. I don’t want to go to kindergarten”, and he bother us.
But when I look back on my childhood, I did the same thing.

Alright, He is growing well.

最近、息子くんが
「幼稚園、行きたくなーい！」
と言って困らせるんだけど、よく考えたら自分も
「今日、学校行きたくねー。」
ってのはしょっちゅう思ってたな。

他は特に大きな文法的な間違いはありません。

Selfish: 自己中心的、自分勝手という意味です。

お子さんは自分勝手というよりは、ただをこねてるという感じだと思うので、
My son’s whining(だだをごねる)という表記でもいいかもしれませんね。
また frequently はoften と同じくらいの頻度の意味合いで使われる単語ですが、oftenよりも少し硬い表現になります。
